Features

Full 15 degree floating cutter head (img. Turf
Tick cutter head). The frame with roller and blade pivots independently
with respect to the conveyor frame. This feature provides for
extreme equal cut , also at high speed, because the blade can
follow and adapt to the ground contour quickly. The rotational
connection between the conveyor frame and the cutting head is
located behind and under the conveyors. The cutting head is
fully see through and easy accessible. Counterbalanced cutterblade
drive, extreme easy in maintenance. Blade drive equipped with
top quality rollerbearings for extra life. Bearings with heavy
duty seals.

Automatic fine adjustment for cutting depth, push button controlled
from control panel at driver seat or from stacking position
(img. electrical depth control). Hand adjustment for large adjustments
in cutting depth. Separated conveyor belts feeding the turf
upwards. The belts run over stainless steel drums, they pick
the turf up very close to the ground so that young turf is not
damaged and will not break. The belts are known for their extreme
long life expectancy.

Rollup system with starter-finger tray that falls
between the separate conveyor belts (img. start rolling). No
turf can pass unrolled. This is a time proven and patented system,
unique for our harvesters. Flex rubber tray for rolling the
first part after the roll is started, protects the roll from
breaking. Elongated rolling system, for smooth, precise and
gradual rolling, protects tender turf. Each roll comes out with
end-slap in exact position. Rubber rollup sprocket wheels, maintenance
free, no wear, top results.

Cross-conveyor, hydraulic driven, with speed adjustment
for ease of stacking. Conveyor belt is smooth so that it does
not damage the turf (img. roll on crossconveyor). The belt it
is special material, almost unwearable The special pallet carrier
can be hooked on and off like regular agricultural equipment
(optional).

The carrier with pallet and stacker platform is
mounted in the tractor three-point hitch (img.Tturf Tick on
tractor iso back). It also carries the back part of the harvester.
The pallet where the turf is stacked on is placed on two forks
at the carrier. A weight sharing system is provided, so that
most of the pallet- weight is carried by the tractor. The excess
part of the weight (appr. 30% when the pallet is full) is transferred
to the TurfTick wheels. With this feature the tractor needs
less front weight and the machine performs considerably better
is wet circumstances Also, the pallet is asymmetric behind the
tractor, so the stacking area is closer to the main conveyor
that delivers the turf. This feature provides extra stacker
comfort and stacking speed. Stacker platform, vibration free,
provides comfort for the stacker. Pivotable pallet frame, easy
accessible with forklift for loading empty pallets.

Easy and efficient tractor mount in a couple of
minutes (img. Turf Tick disconnected). The Turf Tick is hooked
to the tractor with a mount that is specially made up to fit
the specific tractor model. The frame remains at the tractor
when the TurfTick is disconnected.
